I am running the Android example code on a Xiaomi Redmi 4x, one year old, 3gb RAM and supposedly sufficient CPU power.
I run the Affdexsdk Android example but the performance is rather bad.
From starting the SDK to showing some actual results for example as Emojis it takes approx. 5-8 seconds.
The updating has a serious delay as well.
When i run the app on my phone from Android Studio, the Log presents the following hint:
I/Choreographer: Skipped 176 frames! The application may be doing too much work on its main thread.
The documentation says the detector has to run on the main thread. is there a way to utilize multi-threading on android to make the whole experience run faster?
Thanks for your help!
